Construction and use
Cut a section to suit the fly and even the hair before securing it. Anchor the hide at several points on the shank, keeping the tension controlled so the strip does not twist as the profile is formed. Run the strip lengthwise along the shank as a wing, tail or back and secure the hide at carefully chosen points.
