Wapsi Rabbit Zonkers are longitudinally cut strips of hide with rabbit hair attached. The supple hide supports a defined profile while the soft hair remains mobile during the retrieve.

Construction and use

Part the hair away from the strip end and taper the hide before tying it in. Run the strip lengthwise along the shank as a wing, tail or back and secure the hide at carefully chosen points.

  • Material: selected rabbit hide with attached hair.
  • Cut: longitudinal, following the hair direction.
  • Mounting: run the strip lengthwise and secure the hide at selected points.
  • Uses: tails, wings, backs, and streamer bodies.
