Wapsi Muddler Hair

Wapsi Muddler Hair is a selected deer-hair patch intended for controlled Muddler-style heads. The hair can be arranged into a compact bundle, distributed around the hook shank with thread, and shaped by trimming to produce a defined head profile.

Construction and use

Select fibres of similar length, remove the underfur from the tie-in area, and align the tips before tightening the thread. Distribute the hair evenly around the shank, then trim it with scissors or a suitable shaping tool after securing it. This material is suited to Muddler heads as well as small and medium streamer heads where a compact, controlled shape is required.
