Wapsi Mop Chenille

Wapsi Mop Chenille is a dense, fluffy chenille with a rounded profile for building mop-style bodies. It is approximately 0.25 inch thick, so cut sections form soft, full fly bodies with a pronounced rounded shape.

Construction and use

Cut a section to the required length and lightly secure its end with thread without crushing the fluffy surface. Tie individual sections to the hook shank to form a rounded body or several segments. When winding the material, place the turns close together and sweep the fibres back before the next turn; short cut sections can give cleaner body ends. After tying, refine the outline gently with scissors if needed. Each package contains 5 feet of material.
