Tungsten BH Polish Pheasant Tail is the tungsten version of the classic Pheasant Tail nymph. Frank Sawyer developed the famous Pheasant Tail Nymph for the Hampshire Avon. The pattern imitates mayfly nymphs and is suitable for trout and grayling in shallower runs and deeper channels.

Its tungsten bead gets the nymph down quickly. Fish it short-line nymphing, under an indicator or as the heavier fly in a rig, while maintaining a natural drift. Barbless hook in sizes #8–#16.
