Taimen Trucker Fishing Cap No. 1
Medium Bill
Fabric: synthetic fabric
One size fit all
1. Cleaning after use
After use, air the cap and allow it to dry. Remove sweat, sand and minor soiling with a soft, damp cloth. After contact with salt water, clean the soiled areas with fresh water, in accordance with the model's instructions.
2. Choosing the cleaning method
Check the care label and the construction of the cap. Cotton, synthetic, fleece and rainproof models may require different products. The brim, foam, bonded layers or other stiffening may limit the possibility of soaking and washing the whole product.
3. Gentle cleaning
Clean soiling locally with a mild product suitable for the material. Wash the entire cap only when permitted by the care label, using the specified method and temperature. Do not scrub, wring or bend the brim. Do not use bleach or solvents.
4. Drying and retaining shape
Reshape the cap naturally and dry it in a well-ventilated place, in the shade. Do not place it on a radiator or use hot air. Use a tumble dryer or iron only when expressly permitted by the care label; protect stiffening and decorations from heat and pressure.
5. Finishes and fastenings
Clean sand from the size adjustment and fastenings. Do not pull embroidery or loose threads. If the cap has a water-repellent finish, care for it according to the specific model; a ‘rainproof’ designation alone does not define the type of material or finish.
6. Storage
Store the cap clean and completely dry, without crushing the brim or stiffening. Provide a cool, dry place. Do not seal a damp cap in a bag or leave it in a hot car or near sources of heat.
7. Inspection and repairs
Check the seams, adjustment, fastenings, brim and decorations. Repair loose components and minor damage before they become larger. Do not pull out snagged threads. Use materials suitable for the type of garment and the part being repaired, or use a professional repair service.
