Sybai Tab for Eyes

Sybai Tab for Eyes is a clear plastic base for mounting separately selected adhesive eyes. It creates a flat lateral surface at the head of a streamer and makes it easier to align a pair of eyes symmetrically with the centreline of the fly.

Construction and use

Tie the base in near the hook eye before finishing the head. Once its position is set, clean and dry the surface, attach the chosen eye and, when required, seal the edges with a suitable adhesive or resin. Match the base and eye size to the width of the streamer and the free space around the hook eye. Place both sides at the same height without obstructing the hook eye or compressing the wing materials.
