Stonfo Hair Clips

Stonfo Hair Clips is a clear material clamp designed for preparing fibres before they are placed in a conventional dubbing loop. It holds hair and feather fibres, including hackle, as an organised strip that can be transferred conveniently into the open loop. The tool does not twist the thread or spin the material; its purpose is to grip, position and deliver the prepared fibres.

The body is made from strong clear plastic, allowing the arrangement of the material between the clamping faces to remain visible. These faces have a slightly roughened texture that increases friction and helps limit fibre movement during positioning and transfer. Stonfo has shaped the clamp for easier handling at the tying vise. Size 1 is 28 mm wide, while size 2 is 49 mm wide, allowing the tool to be selected according to the width of the prepared strip.
