Stonfo Elite Compact Disc Drag Bobbin is a compact stainless-steel bobbin holder with an adjustable spool disc-drag. Rather than relying on the spring pressure of conventional bobbin arms, its mechanism sets the thread pull-off resistance directly at the spool. This makes it easier to match the tension to the thread in use and maintain a similar setting through successive wraps. The reduced dimensions provide a short, controlled grip for precise work close to the hook.
The distance from the spool axis to the end of the tube is 7 cm. This compact geometry helps the tier guide thread at a controlled angle, place short wraps and work where a longer bobbin holder could restrict hand movement.
