Sprite S2160 Barbless Wide Wet Matt Bronze Fly Hooks (50)

Sprite S2160 Barbless Wide Wet Matt Bronze is a barbless hook for nymphs, wet flies, soft-hackles, spiders, Crunchers and FAB patterns. Its short shank and heavier wire provide a stable base for compact dressings, while the very wide gape gives room for a defined profile without crowding the materials around the point.

Design and use

The hook has a forged bend, needle point and modified S-neck bend. The wide gape leaves useful space for the body and hackle, allowing the tier to keep material clear of the point. The down-eye gives an orderly head area and a practical thread-starting position. This format suits classic wet flies as well as compact, more substantial nymph patterns.
