Partridge YH1A B&W Capt. Hamilton Nymph is a basic nymph hook with a shank approximately 2X long. It is intended for nymphs and can also be used for shorter streamers, attractor flies and some larger dry-fly patterns.

Design and use

The extended shank provides room for a segmented nymph body, added weight or a fuller dubbing profile. The forged bend supports conventional nymph proportions while also leaving space for a shorter streamer body. For dry flies, choose patterns whose length and volume suit this longer platform. The bronze finish fits traditional nymph and wet-fly constructions.
