Partridge N Single Low Water Fly Hooks (25)

Partridge N Single Low Water is a single hook for salmon, steelhead and sea-trout flies intended for low water. Its medium weight, longer shank, up-turned looped eye and black finish suit patterns where a slim, orderly profile is required.

Design and use

The longer shank provides room for an extended body and the traditional arrangement of salmon-fly materials. The up-turned eye helps position thread and materials at the head, while the black finish forms part of the finished fly’s appearance. Medium weight suits low-water patterns without creating the heavy construction associated with flies designed for deep presentation.
