Partridge G3AY Sproat Wet Fly Hooks

Partridge G3AY Sproat Wet is a barbless hook for all-round wet-fly patterns, intended for fishing in mid-stream water. Its traditional Sproat bend and robust point suit classic wet flies built with a straightforward, durable arrangement of materials.

Design and use

The Sproat bend supports a conventional body with hackle or wing, while the robust point provides a practical foundation for river patterns. The barbless form makes quick unhooking easier. When tying, keep clear divisions between the body, hackle and wing, and avoid covering the working area around the point.
