Partridge D4AF Streamer 4X - Down/Eye Fly Hooks

Partridge D4AF Streamer 4X - Down/Eye is a wide-gape streamer hook with heavy wire. It is intended for traditional streamers, bucktails and long attractor flies where the dressing needs a strong tying platform.

Design and use

The wide gape leaves room for a long wing profile, tail and materials that build volume. Heavy wire suits patterns that call for a stronger hook, while the down-eye helps with thread placement and head formation at the front of a streamer. Use it for traditional streamer designs as well as larger bucktail and attractor patterns where the available tying space matches the intended proportions.
