Partridge CS86XR Universal Predator X Red Fly Hooks

Partridge CS86XR Universal Predator X Red is a wide-gape, heavy-weight hook for large predator flies. It is intended for patterns used in freshwater, estuaries and saltwater, with space for a bulky body and wing.

Design and use

The wide gape is useful for tying streamers, bucktails and other full predator patterns. Heavy construction and X-strong wire provide a platform for larger material bundles, while the micro barb should be considered when matching the fly to the rules of the water. The red finish is a feature of this version. The hook can be used for predator flies intended for freshwater, estuarine and saltwater fishing.
