Partridge CS51/SEP Predator Trout Fly Hooks

Partridge CS51/SEP Predator Trout is a straight-eyed hook for trout and large salmonid streamers. Its long shank accommodates large bucktails and contemporary heavy streamer patterns with an extended profile. The series is intended for tiers who need useful tying length when the body and wing proportions are central to the finished fly.

Design and use

The straight eye provides a familiar starting point for the thread base, while the long shank offers space for forming the body, securing bucktail and arranging the wing. Materials can be planned so that the area near the point remains clear and the streamer retains a defined outline. Choose it for trout and steelhead patterns where more length is required than a standard streamer hook provides.
