Outcast Prowler Float Tube
Outcast Prowler is a generously sized float tube intended for stillwater fly fishing on lakes, ponds and reservoirs. Its elevated seat keeps more of the angler above the surface, including the knees, providing a less restricted casting position and reducing continuous contact with the water. The broad footprint and substantial side tubes leave more room for both angler and tackle. That emphasis on usable space suits longer sessions, although the Prowler is naturally less compact than the smaller Outcast designs from the same group.
The inflatable seat and backrest support the high riding position while packing down with less bulk than foam components. An adjustable-height stripping apron can be set to suit the angler’s seating position. It provides a working surface for loose fly line, helping to keep it away from the water and fins while casting and retrieving. A hydration bladder is positioned behind the backrest, using the rear area without occupying the main working space and keeping a drink accessible during a session.
Within the neighbouring Outcast float tubes of this generation, the Prowler is the largest, space-focused option rather than the most compact package. Its urethane AIREcells should not be confused with vinyl AIREcells; the urethane construction belongs to this specific Prowler specification. An anchor system is optional and is not standard equipment.
