Orange T.G. Pheasant Tail Jig

Orange T.G. Pheasant Tail Jig is a tungsten-beaded jig nymph from the Pheasant Tail family. The famous Pheasant Tail Nymph was developed for the Hampshire Avon by English river keeper Frank Sawyer. The tungsten bead gets the fly quickly into the bottom zone, while the orange accent increases its contrast.

It imitates mayfly nymphs for trout and grayling, fished on a short-line nymphing rig or under an indicator, close to the bottom in faster channels and deeper runs. Barbless hook. Available in sizes #10–#16.
