FFGene Fish Heads Sculpin

FFGene Fish Heads Sculpin are shaped, weighted heads for sculpin-imitating streamers. Their form creates a broad front section, while the added weight helps keep the fly close to the bottom, where bottom-oriented profiles are presented.

Construction and use

Choose the size in relation to the hook, shank length, and amount of material used behind the head. Check the seating against the eye and bend of the particular hook before tying. Position the head at the eye, build the streamer body and tail behind it, and secure the connection with firm thread wraps. During retrieval, monitor bottom contact and adjust the pace to the depth and current strength.
