Aqua Mako Polarized Fishing Sunglasses
Aqua Mako is an extra-large pair of polarised fishing glasses with a strongly wrapped frame and broad panoramic coverage. The lightweight TR90 nylon frame uses Aqua’s black-palladium colour scheme and incorporates separate metal inserts. A base curve of 9 provides substantial side coverage, while a small opening beside the outer lens area assists ventilation.
Aqua PPX lenses are designed to combine strong optical performance with high resistance to impact, scratching and mechanical stress. Their polarisation reduces glare reflected from water and other flat surfaces, improving contrast and making detail beneath the surface easier to observe when light levels and water clarity allow. Aqua states that its fishing lenses provide total UV protection.
PPX Yellow is suited to low light, dusk and shaded streams. PPX Rose Copper supports contrast in mixed or overcast conditions, while PPX Grey reduces excessive brightness in strong daylight. PPX Mirror Blue uses a mirror coating intended for very bright conditions and prolonged exposure to intense light.
